Chris Howery
& Family
By age 18 I joined the Marines, which took me all over the
World (Hawaii, Japan, Thailand, Guam), and being immersed
in different cultures would forever shape my destiny.
After my tour of duty ended, I returned to Aloha Oregon,
settling in Salem in 1995. For the next few years while
attending Chemeketa Community College part-time, I also
worked a full-time job. Then in 1996 worked full-time for
the State Government, over the next 10 years learning
about the inner workings of Government, and becoming more
in tune with the technology that what would eventually
become my full-time career working with others, and
providing training in many different aspects, while
working with computer tech support on the local and global
Levels.
In 2000, I married my wife Sarah, whom I had dated in high
school and we now have 2 children together. My boy Spencer
now 9, and my daughter Trinity now 6, are both children
with special needs, but my wife and I are fully committed
to them and know that's exactly why God gave them to us.
For the next couple of years, I continued building my
knowledge and education of both security and computer
technology providing computer consulting, and security for
the Salem/Keizer school district where my job encompassed
managing security for all the schools in the area. I then
continued computer consulting for Salem Hospital, where I
facilitated the design and implementation of the
hospital's new Security Dispatch/Access Security Systems.
Subsequently working just a short time and being laid off
from my last two jobs, I knew that it was time to do what
I really wanted to do, and simply put, I want to help
other's by sharing my knowledge and experience. I am
happiest being able to provide computer technical training
and computer tutoring in a fashion that is not only
personalized to my audience, but all done in terms that
anyone can understand.
Thank you for your support, and if you have any questions,
please let me know and I'll be more than happy to assist. |
